Homes Built for America Starts Construction on SoMi Townhomes and Condos Along Mission Boulevard in Hayward, CA
189 Bay Area homes soon to be available to own in 2022
HAYWARD, Calif. (October 4, 2021) — Homes Built for America (HBFA), the new homebuilding division of real estate firm The True Life Companies, has announced the start of construction on SoMi, a 189-resident new home community located at 29212 Mission Boulevard in Hayward, CA.
Located within the City’s Mission Boulevard Corridor, the mixed-use commercial and residential SoMi will feature 123 three-story attached townhomes with three- and four-bedroom layouts that range from 1,563 to 1,984 square feet, as well as 66 condominiums with two- to three-bedroom plans that range from 1,124 to 1,368 square feet, of which 20 will be below market rate. The community will include a meeting room and office space, three rooftop decks, a 17,000-square-foot dog park, pedestrian trails, multiple relaxing park areas, and access to additional outdoor space that totals approximately 1.2 acres.
The ground-breaking ceremony for SoMi was held on September 29, 2021 and was attended by Mayor Barbara Halliday, Hayward Chamber of Commerce President and CEO, Kim Huggett, and Scott Menard, President and COO of Homes Built For America.
